The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge delivered a public tribute to Prince Harry on his 36th birthday, a month after allegations about the brothers’ strained relationship were published in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s biography.
Prince William and Kate Middleton seemed eager to put all reports of a family breakup to rest and opted for a lighthearted photo of Harry hitting them both in a running race for their Instagram post. The photo, taken in London in 2017, was accompanied by the caption: ‘I wish Prince Harry a very happy birthday today!’
The Queen, 94, shared a photo where she and Harry shared a joke during a joint engagement in 2017, while Prince Charles, 71, opted for a photo of him laughing with his son at the Invictus Games in 2014.
Although his plans have not been announced, it is believed that Prince Harry will celebrate the occasion privately with wife Meghan Markle and their son Archie in Santa Barbara, where they recently bought their first American home.
