Hannah Waddingham made a cheeky prank on Prince William during an Earthshot Prize panel session in London today, which left the future King in fits of laughter.

As the event began, Waddingham, who hosted the Earthshot Prize ceremony in Singapore last year, asked Prince William when he first had the idea of creating a prize.
‘At first, I felt very alone. I thought for a long time if this was going to work and if a prize was the right way to do it.
“But the more I thought about it, the more I talked to my team at the time, and we were analyzing and thinking about it, the more it seemed to me that hope, optimism, urgency and action were the key words we needed to combine. And so an award format emerged.”
‘For a long time I felt that the debate about climate and the environment was becoming very negative, very pessimistic and gloomy, and I wanted to inspire that hope and optimism that we could do things.
“And I knew all these people existed, I met them through the work I do.”
When William founded the Earthshot Prize in 2020, he did so with a 10-year mission to find ways to protect and repair the environment with innovative solutions.
