Hannah Waddingham has claimed she was groped three times in a week while filming the comedy series Benidorm.

The actress, 46, rose to fame in the UK playing the role of Tonya Dyke in the hit ITV series, but she didn’t explain all that the character was a success.

Speak with The mirrorshe said: ‘I had never been groped in my life, but in Benidorm I was groped three times in a week.

“To get on set, I had to walk around the hotel dressed as Tonya in a non-existent bikini and high heels with guys staring at me…or rather, groping me.

“I had to stop myself from doing what I would instinctively do – knocking down their blocks – because I was at work.

Struggling on set, she saw her jump from one success to the next during her performance — including a role on Game of Thrones.

In the hit series, she played Septa Unella, a devout follower of the High Sparrow, and starred in the infamous scene where Cersei performs the walk of atonement.

She also starred in Netflix’s hit series Sex Education, in which she played Sofia Marchetti, one of Jackson’s mothers.

Hannah has also had recent success in the US, as the second series of AppleTV+’s Ted Lasso received a number of Emmy Award nominations.

Hannah plays Rebecca Walden, the boss of Ted Lasso (played by Jason Sudekis).

The stunning actress originally started out in the musical theater landings on shows like Kiss Me Kate and Spamalot.

Her background certainly came in handy when she performed a memorable rendition of Let It Go at AFC Richmond’s karaoke party.

For her Ted Lasso role, Hannah appeared in several popular West End productions and stayed close to London so she can always be close to her six-year-old daughter, whose name she has not publicly revealed.
