But Hannah Spearritt was left heartbroken when she became the second person to be eliminated from this year’s Dancing on Ice – and has now decided not to return for Sunday’s final, the Mail can reveal.
The former pop star, 42, did not accept an invitation to return for this weekend’s long-awaited final episode, along with her fellow contestants.
“Naturally, we would love for Hannah to be a part of Sunday’s finale and skate alongside the other members of the 2024 cast, but as of now we have not received confirmation from Hannah or her representatives that she will be participating in the show,” said a ITV. well-informed person.
Spearritt, who pulled out of the upcoming S Club reunion shortly after the death of her bandmate and ex-boyfriend Paul Cattermole last year, was plagued by illness during her brief stint on the ITV skating competition.

He had a “nasty fall” during rehearsals for his second skate and later revealed that he had suffered several illnesses during training, related to an infection from a broken tooth.
Due to her health problems, which included the flu and norovirus, she missed several rehearsals which left her on the defensive.
She then scored just 20 points out of a possible 40 on her Frozen-inspired skate in week two with pro partner Andy Buchanan and became one of the first to be evicted.
‘The show starts in three hours, I fell. It’s just a reminder that what we’re doing is pretty dangerous,” she said in a video clip posted before the live show.
Seemingly devastated by her early departure, Spearritt later said she was “disappointed” in a video posted to social media.
“I’m obviously disappointed, but the standard was very, very high and I’m excited to see the journey that everyone else is going to take now,” she said.
‘And it’s been an incredible team, you know how it is. I love Sundays, the transformation. I’ll miss him.’
Spearritt, who has suffered from an autoimmune disease since 2013, was due to join his former band on their comeback tour but pulled out after a contract dispute.

After the fight, the other members, Rachel Stevens, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett, announced that they would continue as a quintet.
She is said to have been caught off guard by the announcement and left on bad terms with the band she rose to fame in in the early 2000s.
Hannah has since admitted that she doesn’t know if she will sing with S Club again.
She told how ‘everything’ changed for her after Paul’s death and gave her time to reflect on whether rejoining the band was the right thing to do.

Hannah said Sun: ‘Will I ever perform with them again? I just don’t know, I’m glad the tour is going ahead and the songs are still alive, but now I’m looking forward, not back.’
He explained that after Paul’s death, he realized he could not rejoin the S Club for the tour, admitting that he “just didn’t feel right.”
Hannah apologized to S Club fans for not deciding to leave, but said she had to do what was best for her and her family.
