Hannah Spearritt is reportedly moving to Costa Rica to begin a career in farming after a “series of setbacks” following the death of Paul Cattermole.
The S Club 7 star, 43, enjoyed a trip to the stunning location in 2018 and the visit inspired her and partner Adam Thomas to open a cafe in Twickenham in 2022.
However, the cafe was never ready to fully open and a friend told me: Sun that Hannah is selling amid rising costs.
The source said: “It’s the latest in a series of setbacks. The new plan is to sell up and move to Costa Rica to live off the land.”
Hannah and Adam, who have two daughters, Tea, five, and Tora, three, had previously thought about building a community in Central America.

She said Sun‘That’s the dream, to move to Costa Rica and buy a piece of land or a farm and live a simple life with the girls.’
It comes after Hannah’s ex-boyfriend and bandmate Paul tragically passed away in 2023.
Paul was found dead at the age of 46 on 6 April at his home in Dorset, with no suspicious circumstances surrounding his sudden death.
Following his tragic death, Hannah pulled out of S Club 7’s reunion in May, revealing that it was “not the right time” for her to tour with the band.
She told Loose Women: “The S Club will never be the same again, sadly. It just wasn’t the right time for me to continue.”
His bandmates Rachel Stevens, 45, Jon Lee, 41, Bradley McIntosh, 42, Jo O’Meara, 44, and Tina Barrett, 47, kicked off the S Club tour, dedicated to Paul, on October 12, 2023.
Hannah previously admitted that she doesn’t know if she will ever sing with S Club again.
She told The Sun: “Will I ever perform with them again? I don’t know, I’m glad the tour is going ahead and the songs are still alive, but I’m looking forward now, not back.”
The S Club 7 star, 43, told The Sun: “That’s the dream, to move to Costa Rica and buy some land or a farm and live a simple life with the girls” (pictured with partner Adam Thomas and their two girls).
He also revealed that he had been having ‘crippling panic attacks’ before leaving the tour as he spoke about how his health had been suffering at the time.
“I wasn’t in the best of health: I have a compromised immune system and stress makes it worse,” she continued.
“My body couldn’t handle everything that was happening. I wasn’t myself, I suffered from crippling panic attacks, terrible vertigo and I was tired all the time.”
Hannah said her health was also affecting her children because she had no energy to do anything with them.
She explained that after Paul’s death, she realized she couldn’t rejoin S Club for the tour and admitted she “just didn’t feel right.”
Hannah apologized to S Club fans for deciding to leave, but said she had to do what was best for herself and her family.
Hannah claimed she hadn’t been in touch with her former bandmates since leaving the band, admitting she’s sad she can’t be, but insisted she wishes them “all the best.”
