An A-list party in the Hamptons over the Fourth of July weekend is said to have descended into chaos after a bouncer punched a “demanding rich girl” trying to gain entry to the soiree featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.
Crowds clamored to get into a party hosted by hospitality guru Richie Akiva at tech mogul David Rosenberg’s Bridgehampton estate on July 6 after the front gate was locked. Page Six Reports.
One of those women allegedly became aggressive and “chased the girl with the clipboard and hit her,” an unnamed source told the outlet.
‘She jumped on her and the clipboard girl pushed her away in self-defense.’
Another witness described the scene saying: ‘A rich girl was being demanding.
People were reportedly clamoring to get into the Bridgehampton party hosted by hospitality guru Richie Akiva.
Also in attendance at the soiree was newly single Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader.
“She was fighting with the girl at the door to get in,” the source said. “She got in front of the girl and hit her or pushed her, and the girl at the door punched her in the face.”
The witness said police eventually arrived at the scene and arrested the girl who was trying to enter the party, but it took officers “a while” to “decide which one to handcuff.”
“She was arrested because she attacked the doorman,” the witness told Page Six.
Meanwhile, others reportedly tried to enter the party (which also included celebrities including Tobey Maguire, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and NBA star James Harden) by sneaking through the bushes.
But “people who climbed through the bushes to get in were found covered in mud,” an unnamed source said.
Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly helped a drunk man at the party.
It was sure to be a spectacle, as rapper ASAP Ferg performed and DiCaprio reportedly helped a drunk party guest.
“At one point, Leo picked up a very drunk guy and put him next to a pole. The guy was literally falling to the ground,” an eyewitness previously told Page Six.
‘Leo put his hand on (the pole) to keep from falling and said: ‘Stay there.’ The man listened to the movie star and ‘kept holding on to the pole,’ the site added.
