And now the 42-year-old funnyman has revealed the secret behind his impressive baking skills.
Hamish, known for taking up to seven hours to complete his spectacular treats, admits he allows himself to drink a little to get the job done.
appearing in Jase and Lauren from Nova 100 On Friday’s show, Hamish was asked if he was struggling with a hangover after drinking what the Lego Masters presenter calls “construction juice”.
“No, funnily enough it’s become a tradition,” he told hosts Jason Hawkins and Lauren Phillips.

He continued: “I don’t really drink much, [so] Cake night is probably one of my biggest drinking nights of the year.
—It seems irresponsible to always have a hangover on your son’s birthday. But I’m usually so high on sugar, for one thing, a lot of frosting and stuff.
‘But also just the way we did it. The children are excited, they are happy. That is the point. Yes, you actually just move on.
Hamish’s creations include an ‘Avatar’ cake (pictured), a ‘rag doll cake’ and a ‘Pikachu cake’ inside a Pokeball case.
He added that he was most likely to feel the impact of his “building juice” the day after hosting a party for one of his two children he shares with Zoë Foster, 42.
The couple married in 2012 and have a son, Sonny, eight, and a daughter, Rudy, five.
