‘There is also another part of the assignment. The ball has to open, which makes it a lot harder for it to be a moving cake, ”he said.

Hamish took part in his Lego Masters co-star The Brickman, aka Ryan McNaught, to help build the Pokeball’s shell from Lego, before putting everything in waffle cookies and sweet icing.

“I risk it with the cookie, because there is no plan b,” added the comedian boldly.

He amazes fans every year with his epic cake creations for his son Sonny’s birthday.

In 2020, the Hamish revealed that his son wanted the cake to be inspired by Aladdin’s Cave Of Wonders, complete with a glowing mouth cavity and eyes.

“This year it’s a classic, the Cave Of Wonders from Aladdin, you know, the cave where he goes into the lamp (you know). The mouth is glowing. The eyes glow, ”he explained at the time.

Sonny has asked to be faithfully recreated this. I have an idea for brewing with a torch, so I’m getting pumped, ”gushed Hamish.
