Since opening on Broadway in August 2015, Hamilton has been the most popular ticket in every city it has played in, including London, and creator Lin Manuel Miranda has catapulted into the global spotlight.
Now fans can enjoy the musical in their own home for the first time, without having to look for an often exorbitant theater ticket.
The cinematic version of the original Broadway stage production, filmed for three nights in 2016, was released on Disney + in the early morning hours in the US and 8 hours in the UK.
