Halloweentown stars Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz are married.
On Friday, the former Disney stars tied the knot in an intimate outdoor wedding at the Spanish Hills Club in Camarillo, California, attended by 92 of their loved ones.
Brown, 39, and Kountz, 45, shared their excitement for their “dream come true” wedding day and recalled their predestined love story along with stunning photographs obtained by People.
Two years earlier, in June 2022, the couple got engaged at the Griffith Observatory, where they had their first date, in Los Angeles.
It was on the anniversary of when they made their relationship official and started calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend when he asked her to marry him.

They previously met on the set of Halloweentown 2 in 2001, but only began dating years later. After finishing the film, they remained friends and kept in touch through social media, until they reconnected in 2016.
“We were literally right in front of the observatory where we had been on our first official date,” Brown recalled of the romantic moment. “He proposed to me right on the spot and it was truly the perfect evening.”
However, their love story actually dates back to two decades ago even though, at the time, they were just friends with no romantic feelings between them.

Brown recalled that she and her now-husband “got along very well” during filming, but were just friends and said there were “never any romantic arguments, thoughts or feelings at the time.”

Brown told the outlet that he contacted his former co-star about a video he was working on for his YouTube channel.
“I was recording some comedy sketches for my YouTube channel and I thought, ‘Some of the fans might recognize him and think he’s cool,’ so I approached him,” he said.
It was then, he explained, when sparks began to fly and their romantic relationship began.
“We worked on the sketches but we also started to pick up feelings, I guess, as the kids say.”

As for her plans after marriage, Kountz shared, “I can’t wait to explore the world with [Kimberly]. It will be incredible’
From Kountz’s perspective, he said he was taken aback by how “beautiful” she was when they met after so many years and instantly “fell in love.”
“We met at a bar and I was waiting there for a little Kimberly J. Brown to come in and a beautiful, well-built, grown woman walked in.
“I was like, ‘Oh, well, hello. I think we’ve both grown up a little bit.’ So that was it for me. I was in love.’
