Six cars have been trapped by a sinkhole that opened in the parking lot of a Pennsylvania mall.

A woman tells WGAL-TV that she was inside one of the vehicles during the collapse, and described it as an earthquake.

The spectators helped her out safely.

No one was injured, but the vehicles can not be removed until the area is stable.

A woman who answered the phone at the mall's office said "the photos do not lie." about the incident, then hung up.

Buyers posted photos and videos of the scene on social networks that show the cars that are under the parking lot and on the ground.

Lafayette Fire Company has asked people to avoid the mall while trying to remove the cars from the sump and secure the area.

Lancaster is about 70 miles (113 kilometers) west of Philadelphia.
