Hailey Bieber has started her own beauty company, but sometimes the model still needs her doctor’s help to have a clear, radiant complexion.
The 27-year-old, who looked busty in a black swimsuit with bunny ears for Easter, was makeup-free in a TikTok video in which she shared her battle with perioral dermatitis.
He explained to them that the condition resembles “acne or rosacea” which often results in “small red bumps forming on the lower half of the face, in the folds of the nose and around the mouth.”
“This is something I’ve had since I was 19 or 20,” the Rhode Skin founder said in the minute-long clip.
The National Institutes of Health reports that “perioral dermatitis is a benign rash that occurs most frequently in young adult women… 20 to 45 years of age.”
Hailey Bieber, 27, took off her makeup in a TikTok video to talk about her experience with perioral dermatitis and how she copes with it.
Bieber, who is in that age range, said, “And I know a lot of other people deal with that and struggle with it too,” he said.
“I’m having a pretty bad seizure right now, so I wanted to share what I use when I’m having a seizure.”
He showed them a close-up of his skin and the small pustules that had formed.
The runway veteran said she uses a recipe for azelaic acid cream at night.
“It really helps with inflammation,” he explained.
“And during the day, I use something called clindamycin, which can also be prescribed by a dermatologist,” he said, noting in the screen copy that the antibiotic helps “stop the growth of bacteria on the skin.”
She said she also turned to her Rhode Skin glazed milk during an outbreak.
“It’s super gentle, helps soothe the skin, doesn’t irritate it anymore,” and wrote on the screen that she also uses sunscreen.
Rhode’s Glazing Milk was named Best Moisturizing Essence by the Bustle Beauty Awards.

The model said she treats breakouts with two prescriptions: azelaic acid cream at night and clindamycin during the day. She also uses Rhode Skin Glazing Milk and an SPF.

The couple has been dealing with rumors about the state of their marriage since the model’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin, 57, retweeted a prayer request for the couple.
She responded to TikTok saying the rumors came “from the land of deception.”
