Hailey Bieber has been roasted by fans of Selena Gomez after she launched her new cooking show — nearly three years after the singer launched her own cooking series.
Rudd, 26, has long faced accusations of ‘copying’ The Only Murders in the Building star, 30, and scrutiny only increased this week when she released The official first episode of What’s in My Kitchen? on her YouTube channel.
Critics were quick to draw comparisons to Gomez’s HBO Max cooking series Selena + Chef, which premiered in August 2020, calling Bieber’s latest venture a “steal”.

However, in a joint statement with Hollywood ReporterPepper called What’s in my kitchen? Her “natural spin-off” Who’s in My Bathroom series, which featured Kendall Jenner, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Emily Ratajkowski as guests.
The first of six episodes released on Wednesday showed her making her “signature chicken wing recipe” inside the home she shares with husband Justin Bieber.
Other recipes will include her homemade version of her $17 Strawberry Glaze Erewhon Smoothie and Pizza Toast. The skin care expert teamed up with OBB Media to create the series, with HexClad sponsoring the project.
One Twitter user cheekily posted that HBO MAX didn’t want her, while others claimed Bieber was giving “one white female” vibes with the show.
“This girl is obsessed with Selena,” another person insisted. “Now look at a new edition of Selena + Chef Cook Show.”
“Then, she’ll announce a murder mystery comedy co-starring Tim Allen and Jerry Seinfeld,” another jokes, referring to the Gomez Hulu series Only Murders in the Building.
Viewers have pointed out the striking similarities between Gomez and Bieber’s performances, including shooting styles and scripts.

Gomez’s fans have claimed that Bieber is “obsessed” with the singer and “wants to be her”. Even Roode’s founder fans admitted it was a “bad move” and “kind of weird.”

Even Bieber’s fans were skeptical about the visuals of the show considering the constant accusations that she copies everything her husband’s ex-girlfriend does.
“Hmm, I didn’t care for that beef you had with Selena, but even I have to admit this is kind of weird,” one person tweeted.
“Well, I love Hayley, but that’s a bad move. She’s going to get dragged around a lot,” said another person.
Bieber started her YouTube channel in 2021 and now has over 2 million subscribers. It’s been facing backlash on its cooking segments ever since its soft launch What’s in My Kitchen back in December 2022.

A Twitter user shared a video of Gomez’s introduction to Selena + Chef followed by screenshots from Bieber’s What in My Kitchen premiere clip from last year.
This is my real home. All we do is at home. “This is my gorgeous kitchen, and it’s the location,” Gomez told viewers.
“Yeah, we’re actually in my real kitchen, in my real house. This isn’t a set. This is where I really live,” Bieber explained on her series.

However, Bieber wasn’t the only celebrity following in Gomez’s culinary footsteps after she began filming her show during the pandemic.
