William Haggas has admitted he was “not overwhelmed” by superstar Miler Baaeed’s Queen Anne Stakes win last week.
The son of Sea The Stars extended his undefeated streak to eight at Royal Ascot with a skilful win in the first group of the meeting and his trainer is now considering a trip to Goodwood for the Sussex Stakes.
“That’s the obvious route,” he told the Nick Luck Daily podcast.

“We haven’t talked about it fully yet, but it seems obvious because he’s four years old and he needs to keep going.
“He won well, which he deserved. I wasn’t blown away by his performance, but maybe he’s just doing what he’s supposed to do.’
Haggas confirmed that Maljoom, an unlucky fourth in the St James’s Palace Stakes, will be next to France for the Prix Jacques le Marois.
