Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother, Blythe Danner, suffered a medical incident while at a charity event in the Hamptons on Saturday.
The 81-year-old actress was taken by ambulance but is “completely fine,” according to a People source of the magazine.
“It was early in the incident and she just sat there for a while while they took her vitals. It didn’t seem that serious, but they took her anyway,” the source said.
Blythe was at Springs Food Pantry’s EAT in the Hidden Gardens 2024 event in East Hampton, New York at the Corbett Estate.

A representative for Gwyneth’s company, Goop, told People magazine that Blythe is “completely fine.”
Blythe is best known for her roles in Meet the Parents, Forces of Nature, The Prince of Tides, and 1776.
She was diagnosed with adenoid cystic carcinoma, a rare type of oral cancer of the salivary glands.
She has had three surgeries since her diagnosis, the third in 2020 to remove cancerous tissue.
Blythe has also received chemotherapy and radiation.
In 2022, Gwyneth said of her mother: “My mom is truly one of the strongest people I know. I hope if I ever go through something like that, I can be like her,” she told People.
Blythe shares a daughter, Gwyneth, and a son, Jake, with Bruce Paltrow, who died in 2002 at age 58 from the same oral cancer as her.
He had been diagnosed in 1999.
He died on October 3, 2002 while in Rome with Gwyneth to celebrate her birthday when he passed away from complications of cancer and pneumonia.
They were married for 32 years until his death.
