Gwyneth Paltrow is downsizing her staff after becoming an empty nester.
The Talented Mr. Ripley star, 51, has put his 8,000-square-foot mansion in Los Angeles up for sale as his son Moses, 18, heads off to college, after graduating from high school on last month.
The Oscar winner is selling her home, which features a guesthouse with a movie theater and wine cellar, in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for $29.99 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The actress bought the house with her ex-husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 47, in 2012 for $9.95 million. The former couple shares her son Moses and her daughter Apple, 20.
The duo were married for almost ten years, from 2003 to 2014. After their ‘conscious uncoupling,’ Paltrow married Brad Falchuk in 2018, and he and their two children also moved into the property, according to real estate agent Lea Porter .

The house, built in 1950 and renovated in 2009, is situated on two-thirds of an acre in Mandeville Canyon.
The property had a total of eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, including the one-bedroom apartment above the home’s garage.
It offers a lot of privacy, and Porter says, “The privacy factor is huge.”
Inspired by classic California architecture, the home’s gray brick exterior exudes timeless charm, further enhanced by the lush green front yard.
The front hallway has a black and white tile floor and French doors. It leads to the living room, ideal for entertaining, with a wood-burning fireplace, wet bar, endless seating spaces and white paneled walls.
The kitchen is a chef’s dream and features high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, black tile floors and a huge island.
The backyard features a plunge pool and guest house with temperature-controlled wine cellar, gym, game room, office and movie theater.

Gwyneth’s youngest son, Moses, is headed to Brown University in Rhode Island and was recently cheered on by his parents, who reunited for his high school graduation in May.
The graduation came weeks after Gwyneth admitted her growing anxiety at the prospect of being an empty nest.
“If I’m honest, I’m having a nervous breakdown,” she confessed at an event for her wellness brand Goop, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“I started saying, ‘Oh my God, I need to quit my job, I need to sell my house, and I need to move.’ It’s kind of a chaos in things,” he said.
‘My identity has been being a mother. Apple will turn 20 years old in May. That’s why I’ve oriented my entire life around them, their schedules and when classes start.’
She explained: “You start to let go little by little when they drive alone or do certain things. It is a slower process.”
Gwyneth added: “I feel very lucky because I have a close group of mom friends and we all raise our children together.” So we are in this together.”

In March, Gwyneth shared that her husband Brad’s son Brody was also heading off to college, in an interview with Sunday weather.
‘Brad (Falchuk) and I have kids who are going to college. “It will be interesting to see how the morning routine changes without kids at home.”
Regarding what he feels about his departure, he shared: “On the one hand, incredible sadness. A deep sense of impending pain. On the other hand, this is exactly what should be happening.”
‘Your children are supposed to be, you know, young adults who can achieve, cope, make connections and be resilient. That’s exactly what you want. And that means they leave the house.
