No drama here! Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson put rumors of their Iron Man 2 feud to rest after allegations that they were fighting on set
Scarlett Johansson appeared on Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP Podcast on Tuesday and reveled in the good old days of their roles in Iron Man 2.
There has long been a rumor that Pepper Potts and Black Widow didn’t get along on the set of a Marvel movie but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
People ask me, “Is it true that you and Scarlett Johansson didn’t get along in Iron Man?” revealed Gwyneth, 50.
“Is this a rumour?” Scarlett, 38, replied. You were very nice to me in this movie. I was so petrified.
You were so nice to me! You would have been terrible. I was out of my comfort zone with this movie. I’ve never done anything like this before. Plus, you’ve made such deep friendships.

Team Iron Man was “so excited that you were there,” Gwyneth assured Scarlett, adding, “I was so happy to have another woman around.”
“She kept telling me that,” said the Lost in Translation actress. Then I tried that later. When did the avengers. I was one of the few (women)… It was like one big sausage party.
Gwyneth can relate to that as if she shot the first Iron Man movie, it was the first blockbuster she was in.
“It’s been so exciting to be in something that resonates so deeply with people culturally,” said the Sliding Doors star.
I’ve never been into this kind of blockbuster franchise either. It was new to me. But then I kept doing all those huge movies.
The actresses have also spoken about whether they will return to the MCU. The only problem for Scarlett is that Black Widow was killed off in Avengers: Endgame.
“I’m done,” said Scarlett. Class is over. I did everything I had to do. And to go back and play a character over and over again, over the course of a decade, is a unique experience.
And Gwyneth agreed that she thinks her time in the MCU is over as well, saying, “I think so. I mean, I’m not dead so they can always ask me.

And Scarlett added, “It’s 100% happening. I can see it. They’ll never let you go. Break a wig, baby.”
Rumors of a feud between the two actresses had been circulating for over a decade and Gwyneth had been denying these rumors for a long time.
