Earlier this year, Blake announced his departure from The Voice.
The singer has confirmed that he will be leaving the NBC show at the end of season 23.
“I’ve been grappling with this for a while and decided it was time for me to step away from ‘The Voice’ after Season 23,” Blake — who has been a constant presence on the show — said in a statement.
This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always make me feel at home. It’s been an amazing journey over 12 years of running the chair and I want to thank everyone at NBC’s “The Voice,” every producer, writers, musicians, crew, and caterers, you are the best.

Her man: This comes after husband Blake Shelton announced he was leaving The Voice to spend time with Gwen and her three sons. He will tour in February and then in June
Earlier this week, Shelton said he couldn’t stay away from the music industry.
The 46-year-old singer is scheduled to tour in February, and Blake is still incredibly passionate about his work. He shared: “Beyond the music, you might be poisoning me or something. This is not something I can go without. I can’t.
Despite this, Blake is in no rush to release another album.
“I’m really at a crossroads right now,” the chart star — who released his debut album in 2001 — told PEOPLE. The trajectory of country music is changing very quickly, and there are some really good ones out there. These little kids are coming up, it’s amazing to see the music they make and how creative they are.
Blake is also keen on spending some quality time with his wife, Stephanie.
And the ‘Honey Bee’ hitmaker feels like he’s found a healthy work-life balance lately. ‘I can control the timing,’ he said, ‘and I’m not on anyone else’s schedule when it comes to making a record or touring. I can make more sense for us.
