What is Wall World?
The title is one Rogue-like mining/action gamewhich releases you into a world dominated by the eponymous wall. This stretches up vertically from an almost endlessly distant floor and you climb on it with one robo spider down.
From there you drill into the wall in your exosuit at predetermined points, collect resources and use them to equip yourself using trees, for example your equipment, the suit and the robospiders on.
Enemies and Bosses: And you need every ounce of tech strength, because aliens who want to get at your spider’s mutton legs regularly attack you. Meanwhile, as you mine, explore, fight, and crawl, a timer at the top of the screen ticks toward zero. When time runs out, enter a giant tentacle boss the playing field. If you overcome it, the journey continues.
The goal is to explore them mysterious wall worldwhere you don’t seem to be the first visitor.
If your mining spider is destroyed, you have to start over, but you save resources in your camp. With these you constantly arm yourself before new attempts. The mines are procedurally generated.
Incidentally, the title is similarly stored dome keeper. Here, too, you dig your way through an alien planet – albeit stationary and downwards – upgrade your equipment and fend off nasty beasts.
The game is even reduced and costs until May 1st instead of 18 only 13 euros. The title, which was released in September 2022, is recommended by 90 percent of the around 6,000 voters, Steam verdict: very positive.
