Guy Sebastien’s sudden career move after a neighborhood dispute announces his first fragrance for women inspired by his wife, Jules

Guy Sebastien replaced his musical notes with olfactory ones by announcing the launch of his first fragrance for women, inspired by his wife, Jules.

The Australian winner, 41, has partnered with budget drugstore chain Chemist Warehouse to launch his own feminine fragrance called Embrace.

He follows in the footsteps of many celebrities who have launched their own fragrances exclusively in Chemist Warehouse stores, including singer Delta Goodrem, Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gina Liano and the late cricketer Shane Warne.

It has been my dream for a long time to create a line of fragrances. Everyone who knows me well knows how obsessed I am with perfume, the father-of-two wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.

“I never leave the house without a scent and I love that feeling when you find that new scent that just talks to you,” he added.

The Voice Judge — who is in the midst of a bitter legal battle with his elderly neighbor in Maroubra — revealed that Embrace is inspired by his determined wife of 14 years, writing, “I am so happy she loves him and I hope she loves him too.”

The fragrance ad, fittingly, features a photo of the couple embracing, with the man looking sharp in a black suit and tie while Jules is lounging in a red sequin-covered dress.

The man appeared on The Morning Show on Wednesday to promote his fragrance, telling co-hosts Kyle Gillis and Larry Emdur that he’s been collecting fragrances for years.

When I was younger, I would buy all the fake Calvin Klein and (Davidoff) Cool Water I could get at service stations. Whenever I travel, I always buy different perfumes and aftershaves.

Guy’s perfume features notes of vanilla orchid, red currant, jasminum grandiflorum (also known as Spanish jasmine), and davana herbs.

Embrace for Her will be available exclusively at Chemist Warehouse starting April 6th.
