Celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s Las Vegas restaurant has come under fire from diners for its ‘bland and cold’ food and ‘disgusting service’, with some insisting they had a more positive experience at McDonald’s.
A restaurant that visited Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen, which opened in 2014 and earned a four-star rating from more than 5,400 Google reviews, said the fast-food chain McDonald’s offered “better service.”
Another disgruntled customer even slammed the food, suggesting it was ‘bland’ and ‘dry’.
The celebrity chef and TV presenter, 55, is estimated to be worth $197million and owns restaurants across the United States.

But his restaurant in Vegas has been marred by poor reviews for poor service.
An angry diner, named Lynda, said: ‘I went last night for a friend’s birthday, it’s a party of ten. People made reservations and realized it was very busy.
“As for shoddy customer service, I’ll go to McDonald’s for that. I can go on and on about how unhappy we were.
“Even the management, Armando, wasn’t really helpful. It’s sad as a local – it’s my first time here and I wasn’t happy. The food was good but cold.
Another raging reviewer, named Lee, claimed, “If you were ever greeted with a cold shoulder and sat with a disgusting attitude in an establishment.
‘The host (name deleted) will surely make you feel unwelcome, and as if you’re disturbing his day. Not a “hello”, ignoring all the questions we had for him.
“I mentioned to him, with his lack of empathy, that you work in hospitality and are unfriendly, if you don’t want us to have dinner at your establishment then please ask us to leave .”
A restaurant also criticized the food, with Greg Kistler saying it was “disappointing”.

“I will never allow you to treat me, or anyone who travels the world to dine here feels unwelcome. Total disappointment and shame for such a great brand,” they said.
“The food was excellent and I must commend Johnathan, our server, for returning our complaint and giving it a compliment due to his enthusiasm and professionalism – he carried the team that day.
“Thank you sir, but the host is more than welcome to find work elsewhere if he doesn’t like his job.”
Vegas Restaurant responded by saying, “Thank you for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed Jonathan’s service. He will be recognized for his efforts.
Another visitor wrote: “Guy spends so much time traveling the country, praising people for their great scratch food.
“Yet back home the food was bland, dry and possibly even processed frozen food. I had the Reuben, which was dry, and the chicken sandwich, which you could have sworn was frozen breast.
Other diners enjoyed Guy Fieri’s Vegas cuisine and bragged about a wonderful experience at this restaurant, with one calling it the “best meal of my life”.
Apart from the negative experiences, there were also people who had a great restaurant experience and took their positive feedback online

‘It needed seasoning as it was very bland. They went for some good bread, but everything else was average at best. We tried it, and we won’t be going back.
“With his brand, we expected much more.”
Another restaurant claimed they were greeted with a ‘cold shoulder’ and seated with a ‘disgusting attitude’.
The restaurant thanked the restaurant for their review and hoped they would return in the future despite the negative experience. They said, “Thank you for your review, Greg.
“Your feedback regarding the sandwiches has been shared with our culinary team in the hope that you will give us another try in the future.”
Despite negative experiences, there were also positive experiences of his restaurant.
Taten Belzer said: “This place is amazing. I had the mac and cheese burger, and it was the best thing to touch my lips.
“The nachos in the trash were amazing. Hands down the best meal of my life.

The TV mogul recently performed cooking demonstrations at the Stagecoach Smokehouse in California.
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen has been approached for comment.
