Gunman who killed the teenage family member of ISIS terrorist in a park in Sydney is still free

A shooter who shot the teenage family of a killed ISIS terrorist in a park in Sydney is still fleeing two days after the “targeted murder.”

Omar Elomar, 18, was shot by the roadside on Cabramatta Avenue in Miller, in the southwestern suburbs of the city, on Saturday at 11 p.m.

He was shot in the chest in a playground before he died in a pool of blood next to his silver Lexus, despite the efforts of a local resident who tried to resuscitate.

Omar’s family member Mohamed Elomar was notoriously depicted with a severed head in each hand while fighting for ISIS in Syria, before he later died in a drone attack in 2015.

On Monday, the police confirmed that the investigation into Elomar’s death was still ongoing because the shooter roams freely.

The older relative of the killed teenager Shayma Elomar, who regards Mr. Elomar as a brother, went to Facebook on Sunday with an ominous warning to her friends.

“This is an announcement for anyone who had a post from omar on the floor with a white shroud with blood stains. Please have some decency and stop sharing and deleting it !!! Plz share this! Plz respect our family, ‘she wrote in the post on Sunday evening.

She also warned about fake fundraising pages set up in her name and asking for donations.

‘Anyone who receives a gofund-me-page in my name for omar doesn’t put any money in it, it’s a scam !! Someone who still tries to use it to make money, that’s all. Sad world, “she wrote.

Elomar was distraught when news came about the death of her “brother.”

She wrote a warm tribute on Facebook where she claimed that he had a smile that “could illuminate any room.”

“Last night someone thought it was OK to take one of the two brothers I have,” Mrs. Elomar wrote.

“Omar, I don’t have any f ** king words! I no longer have ambitions for life. Omar wanted to become a lawyer … (he) went to places in life.

“Everyone who knew this beautiful soul knew how happy and wonderful he was, his smile could illuminate any dark room.”

Daily Mail Australia understands that Omar is a direct relative of Ibrahim Elomar, an uncle of Mohamed and Ahmed Elomar.

Mohamed flew from Sydney to Syria in 2013 to become a member of the Islamic State and quickly rose to the ranks of the terrorist organization, alongside fellow Australian Khaled Sharrouf.

Mohammed’s brother Ahmed previously spent three years in prison for basking a police officer during the riots in Hyde Park in 2012.

Ibrahim Elomar and his brother Mamdouh, the father of Mohamed and Ahmed, were sentenced to 20 months in prison for trying to bribe officials to receive construction contracts. They were released from prison in mid-2019.

His family member Shayma Elomar paid tribute on Facebook and described how the teenager wanted to become a “lawyer.”

Police chief in Liverpool, Adam Whyte, said it was too early to determine if the shooting had been a drive-by attack.

“It’s very early, but I can assure the community here in Liverpool that the incident is not random, but focused,” said Commander supt Whyte.

“My message to all involved is that it’s best to turn yourself in at the Liverpool police station.”

Police and paramedics arrived near Miller Park on Saturday at 11 p.m. to find an audience member desperately trying to revive the teenager.

The shooting happened right outside the home of Raed Kalal, who told The Daily Telegraph he tried unsuccessfully to perform CPR on the teenager.

“I heard a gunshot, got away, called the ambulance, started CPR, and the guy died right away, and that was it,” said Mr. Kalal.

“I tried CPR, word of mouth … I had my phone on the floor and the ambulance they had (talk to me).

“I’ve done my best … I’ll try to save every life, no matter who it is.”

Local residents in the area said they heard what a “party” sounded in the hours before the shooting from the park.

The Liverpool police command is currently investigating the incident.
