Gunfire erupts in Boosie Badazz ‘music video, leaving one person in critical condition … six months after the rapper was shot in the leg

On Saturday, May 29, gunfire erupted on the set of rapper Boosie Badazz’s music video shoot in Huntsville, Alabama, leaving one person in critical condition.

Huntsville police responded to a report of shots fired around 4:30 p.m., but no suspect is in custody and no motive is currently known, per TMZ.

While the rapper – real name Terrence Hatch – was not harmed, the incident comes just six months after he sustained a gunshot wound after being shot in the leg in Dallas, Texas.

Posted a video of the incident on a Twitter account called Rap Updates TV, shows a crowd of 50 to 100 people scattering after one shot was fired.

In the 16-second clip, the rapper (shown in a white T-shirt) was seen among a group of people wielding assault rifles.

Shortly after the lyrics, “Hold on, I’ll open fire on him,” a single shot sounded, although it doesn’t seem like the gentleman next to Boosie fired his weapon.

The victim of the incident was reportedly a man in his 20s who police found sprawled on the ground on arrival with a wound. He was then transported to a local hospital.

When Huntsville Police tried to question those in attendance, the majority of those in attendance were silent on the matter.

At this point, Boosie is not suspected of being involved in the shooting, but the incident comes just months after he himself was caught in crossfire.

Boosie stopped at a Dallas performance site on Nov. 14 to pay tribute to his friend and employee Mo3 who was gunned down on Interstate 35E in the city days before.

After the performance, the rapper made his way to a local comic book store called Big T’s Plaza, at which point someone opened fire on his sprinter van and punched him in the leg.

Caught in the Crossfire: On November 14, Boosie stopped at a concert hall in Dallas to pay tribute to his friend and associate Mo3 and sustained a gunshot wound shortly after his departure.

The suspects fled and the rapper and his crew made their way to a hospital where he was treated for the wound. After that, he spent time in a wheelchair and only recently started walking.

Give an update on his injury in November on May 26, VladTV interview Boosie said he is not ‘100%’, but ‘walking’.

‘I am walking. I’m performing now. It’s not 100%. I think I started too early. Maybe it should go back in, but I don’t have time. I should be close to tryna run. I’m not running yet. My leg … looks like my damn thing is sticking out. As if you can hear it, ”he shared.

The Mo3 murder was said to be unrelated to the Boosie incident, and two suspects named Kewon Dontrell White and Devin Maurice Brown were charged on murder charges.
