Saturday Kitchen descended into chaos this weekend when guest chef Alison Roman fell off her chair and left viewers in the lurch.
Host Matt Tebutt struggled to get through Helen McGinn’s wine segment while the presenters couldn’t contain their giggles.
Fans of the program were left in hysterics, calling it “the funniest show ever” as the group poured “massive glasses of wine” to get over “the crisis.”
Joining the show Alison from Brooklyn demonstrated her raspberry ricotta cake and raspberry sour cream dessert recipes before bringing it to the table for all to enjoy.
Mayhem struck when she completely missed her seat and tumbled onto the wine table before landing on the floor with a massive thump that was heard in the studio.

‘Are you okay! Did you just sit on the wine table?!’ exclaimed Matt before bursting into laughter.
Alison replied, “I missed my seat!” We didn’t do that in rehearsal!’
Matt suggested Helen get a drink for the chef “quickly” as they giggled through the clip.
‘First of all I’m going to pour you a huge glass of sparkling rose, there you go,’ Helen said.
“That’s what we do in a crisis, we drink tea or we crack open some wine,” the host explained, “but it’s okay, no body saw.”
“It’s nice you have this little chair for the wine,” Alison joked.
Helen tried to continue with the show, adding, “So it’s a sparkly rose and it’s from Aldi…” before bursting into laughter again.
Matt tried to encourage her to “keep going,” but later quipped, “I’m glad Alison never had to drink again.”
