“I think of myself between the ages of 13 and 16. While I was quite well-liked among my peers and had a boyfriend, I was also very shy at times, incredibly self-conscious, and lacked confidence,” she wrote.
“This was partly due to having my heart broken frequently and being fitted with braces between the ages of 13 and 15.”
