Peter Phelps was spotted tooling outside his Sydney home on Monday, looking a far cry from his heartthrob status of yesteryear.
The 64-year-old actor became a household name in the ’80s thanks to his starring role as John Palmer on the iconic soap opera Sons and Daughters.
He later starred in Baywatch, Stingers, Point Break, Wonderland and Ned Kelly.
Phelps started his week by installing some landscaping on the front of his North Sydney property with a leaf blower and hose.
The beloved TV star wore a navy blue Under Armor T-shirt and shorts while doing her household chores.
She added loafers to her look along with sunglasses, and appeared to be drowning out the noise with a pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

Phelps blended into his suburban surroundings with a thick gray beard and mustache.
Go back 20 years and the Sydney father-of-two couldn’t have done it without attracting crowds of enthusiastic fans.
According to the flood of comments left on a recent post in the Facebook nostalgia group ‘Memory Lane – Growing up in Australia’, the prolific ’80s star is still a hit.
“Absolute Aussie legend, what a hunk,” one person wrote. “He hasn’t been in anything he hasn’t been excellent at. From S&D to Stingers, All Saints, Police Rescue… is there an Australian show you haven’t been on?
“He was a real fine Australian asset back in the day,” another woman chimed in. “Beautiful blue eyes.”
He later starred in Baywatch, Stingers, Point Break, Wonderland and Ned Kelly.
‘I loved him then and I love him now. He’s still handsome!’ one fan defended himself, with another commenting “wishing” he made more appearances home and away.
“When he came to Perth for the Telethon, I was behind him at the conga dance. ‘Thank you so much for your kind donation,’ wrote one member of the group. ‘I had to shoo away some women who were trying to take my conga stand.’ .’

The veteran Australian actor sent Home and Away fans into a frenzy earlier this year when he appeared on set in leaked filming photos.
Phelps has played recurring character Gary Morrow since 2022, but his history with Australia’s longest-running soap opera dates back to 2007, when he directed 20 episodes of the series and originally played Alan.
Gary tends to only reappear in Summer Bay around big stories.
Phelps continues to act and recently appeared in an episode of the television miniseries Plum and Roast Night, as well as an episode of Return to Paradise.

Phelps played Australian lifeguard Trevor Cole in a season of Baywatch in 1989.

He lives with his wife Donna Fawkes, whom he married in 2000, and their daughters.
