Travis Kelce made his on-screen acting debut in the FX series 'Grotesquerie' on Wednesday night.

After Travis Kelce made his on-screen acting debut Wednesday night as part of the FX horror series ‘Grotesquerie,’ one of his co-stars Courtney B Vance has revealed her true thoughts on the acting debut of the star of the Chiefs.

Kelce plays Ed Lachlan on the show and does not appear until the third episode. Vance plays Marshal Tryon.

Vance is best known for his work on Broadway and ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’, as well as his portrayal of Johnnie Cochran.

The Tony and Emmy winner said Kelce was a “good choice” for the supporting role, according to Bang Showbiz.

“It just lets you know the power of (director) Ryan Murphy,” Vance continued. ‘(He) just made a phone call and said, “Come.”

‘He was very wonderful. (It wasn’t) a surprise, I was just prepared. He was just good. And if I needed help, I was open.’

Vance added that Kelce wanted to help him in football the same way he had received acting advice.

“I don’t know. Kelce, I appreciate the invitation. Let’s write these lines, okay?” Vance remembers responding.

‘I rejected it. I had too much to do that day. Whatever. Taylor Swift, whatever.

Vance invokes the name of Swift, who has been dating Kelce for over a year and is responsible for her rise in popularity.

Much like Kelce’s appearance on the Amazon Prime Video game show revival ‘Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?’, the tight end’s love life has added to his non-football portfolio.

On the field, Kelce and the Chiefs have started the season 4-0, but the tight end, by his own admission, has struggled to find his best form thus far.

However, he appears to be improving and had his best game of the season so far in the narrow 17-10 win over the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday.

His next game will be Monday night against the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium, the first game his brother Jason will call since he retired from football and became an ESPN analyst.

But before that, Kelce will be celebrating this weekend. He turns 35 on Saturday and his family, and Swift, are expected to join him in Kansas City for the celebrations.
