Grimes Shares First Look At Judging Performance On Fox’s Upcoming Singing Competition Show Alter Ego
Grimes gave fans their first look at her upcoming judging appearance on the singing competition series Alter Ego, which premieres on Fox sometime this fall.
In the Instagram snap, the 33-year-old musician was seen raising a peace sign while posing with fellow judges will.i.am, Alanis Morissette, Nick Lachey and host Rosci Diaz.

However, Grimes noted that she had let her emotions sink in during parts of the match, which were captured “on reality TV.”
“Also, Rule #1 don’t cry on reality TV and I’ve already cried twice unfortunately so tune in for chaos,” she concluded the post.
Grimes was dressed in a dark gray jacket with vibrant patterns as she enjoyed her time with her collaborators for the program.
Her bright pink locks remained tied in two big buns on the back of her head, although much of it ended up on her shoulders and chest.

The singer, born Claire Elise Boucher, wore stylish transparent sunglasses that gave her outfit a ghostly style.
She wore various jewelry that she wore mainly on her left hand and ear.
In Alter Ego, amateur singers will come together to fulfill their dreams of becoming superstars in the music industry.

The show’s contestants will perform through their custom digital avatars in an effort to win the judges’ affections.

Fox Entertainment’s president of Alternative Entertainment and Specials, Rob Wade, released a statement via Deadline to expand on the program’s potential to bring new concepts to a widely popular format.
The executive noted that the show “merges talent and technology to revolutionize the singing competition show in a way that Fox can.”
Wade also said that the show’s hosts would likely be very supportive of the program’s participants and that their expertise would be invaluable.

On Friday, a teaser trailer for the program made its debut on The Masked Singer’s official YouTube channel to give audiences a glimpse into the show’s planned format.
Alter Ego is currently premiering in the near future on an unspecified date this coming fall.
