Popular Texas blogger Laura Merritt Walker announced the death of her three-year-old son in a “tragic accident” last week.
The mother of three, who runs the lifestyle blog Merritt & Style, revealed that her youngest son, Callahan, died in a heartbreaking Instagram post on Monday.
“We are completely heartbroken to share that we lost our precious Callahan in a tragic accident last week,” she wrote in a joint post with her husband David.
‘It was a great blessing and brought a lot of joy to our entire family.
“Cal-Bear was absolutely adored by his older siblings and loved them beyond measure,” the heartbroken parents wrote beneath a photo of their hands holding Callahan’s in a hospital bed.

Texas police confirmed that officers “responded to a drowning call” involving Merritt Walker and her husband, but no further details are yet available.
The stunning post also featured a series of memories with his son, including a photo taken on the beach and a video of the boy reading a storybook.
‘As parents we are completely devastated by the loss of our baby. We take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of Jesus.
‘We would be honored to receive your prayers for the peace and strength of our family during this impossible time.
The couple also share children, Beckham, 10, and Chamberlain, 7.
“Every mom on the internet is surrounding you with a big hug,” Catherine Belknap and Natalie Telfer, hosts of the Cat & Nat podcast, wrote beneath the heartbreaking post.

Texas police confirmed that officers “responded to a drowning call” involving Merritt Walker and her husband, but no further details are yet available.
He added: ‘There is nothing we can say to stop the pain. We are very sorry.’
‘I’m so sorry, there are absolutely no words. I pray that the Lord gives you peace and comfort beyond all understanding,” wrote Raven Gates of Bachelor Nation.

The Walker family celebrated Callahan’s third birthday in October with an Oktoberfest-inspired birthday party, which they called ‘CALtoberfest.’
“Happy 3rd birthday to our precious boy,” they captioned the post, which featured images of the family dressed according to the theme. ‘
We had an absolutely great time with this party theme!! So grateful for these wonderful memories and being able to celebrate Callahan turning 3!’
