Gio Reyna is now on the second bench World After Gregg Berhalter, the head coach of USMNT, was criticised for not using him in the 1-1 draw with Wales, Berhalter won the Cup Game in a Row.
USA had a 1-0 advantage against Wales thanks to Timothy Weah. However, in the second half Wales took control of the game and dictated play.
Reyna, a promising attacker aged 20, seemed certain. But Berhalter instead chose Kellyn Acosta or Jordan Morris. Berhalter has now dropped him from the England showdown’s starting line-up.

Berhalter made one change to the line-up that played Wales, with Haji Wright taking over Josh Sargent’s place in attack.
Berhalter refused to resent critics who asked why he had left Borussia Dortmund’s star as a sub Monday.
Berhalter was once again asked why Reyna had been left out of the England showdown and if she was available to play in the forthcoming Group B clash.
‘I think I was pretty clear after the game saying he was available for the match, and it was a coach’s decision that he didn’t play,’ Berhalter said.
‘And he’ll be available for tomorrow’s match, and we’ll see what happens.’

Although there was speculation that Reyna might have been feeling tight after last week’s practice against a Qatari team, Berhalter’s comments Thursday seemed to discredit that.
