Convicted killer Greg Lynn was attacked in jail, less than a week after being convicted of murdering Carol Clay.
Last week, a fellow inmate threw human feces at Lynn inside Melbourne’s assessment prison, according to reports 7 News.
Another inmate is believed to have asked the inmate to attack Lynn.

Lynn is currently housed in a protective unit at the prison, where he is allowed to mingle with other inmates.
Lynn is apparently not happy in prison and has already complained that the living conditions are not the best.
One of the inmates at the prison is Lachlan Young, who allegedly killed 23-year-old Hannah McGuire from Ballarat.
A spokesman for the Department of Justice and Community Safety said in a statement that the department does not comment on individual prisoner cases.
“Corrections Victoria takes all incidents extremely seriously and refers all reports of criminal activity and serious incidents to Victoria Police for investigation,” they said.
