Prue Leith looked in good spirits as she was spotted out and about in Chipping Norton on Wednesday.

The TV chef showed off her signature quirky sense of style as she opted for a pink and orange scarf as she wrapped up warm for the day.

The 84-year-old paired the scarf with a deep red quilted coat and a painted splash patterned colorful blouse.

It comes after Prue announced she is taking a break from That Great British Bake Off after being a judge on the hit show for seven years.

The chef writer will not appear on this summer’s celebrity version of the show.

Yet the star hasn’t slowed down completely as she arrived at the Chipping Norton theater ahead of her Prue Leith: Nothing in Moderation show at the venue on Friday.

Always one to accessorize a look, Prue added some chunky yellow and pink earrings to her ensemble and some colorful glasses with pink frames.

Prue appeared bare-faced as she walked from the car to the venue, carrying her essentials in a large red handbag.

Amid news of Prue’s departure from the hit show, Channel 4 bosses are now looking for a replacement judge to star alongside Paul Hollywood, with Nigella Lawson a favourite.

A spokesman for Bake Off creator Love Productions said: ‘Prue will be stepping down from The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer.’

“Prue absolutely loves working on Bake Off but filming two series a year can be punishing on top of her other commitments,” a source told The sun.

‘She has already filmed the normal series which will be shown this year, but she will not appear in the celebrity version.

‘Prue has made it clear she loves the show and wants to come back in 2025. She turns 85 next year so it’s no surprise she wants to take time off.’

In a statement, Prue told MailOnline: ‘I love working on Bake Off and am looking forward to filming the next series and meeting our new bakers, I’m only stepping down from the Celebrity series which is just a matter of the filming commitment involved while we do these shows back to back.’

MailOnline has contacted Channel 4 and Prue and Nigella’s representatives for comment.

In 2017 Prue, who was made a Dame in 2021 for services to food, broadcasting and charity, replaced Mary Berry as judge.

She appears on the hit show alongside Paul, 58, and presenters Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.

But her stint on the show got off to a bad start when she accidentally revealed the winner before the final aired.

Prue, who was in Bhutan at the time, accidentally revealed that Sophie Faldo had won in a tweet sent just hours before the final fans had been waiting for.

The misguided tweet was quickly deleted, but not before it began circulating online, ruining the surprise for thousands of fans.

Prue apologized, blaming her confusion on the time difference.

Appearing on This Morning, Prue said she was horrified by her mistake.

‘I felt suicidal… Terrible. What bothered me the most was that it would take the attention away from the winner. And Sophie had worked for this moment for months and months and all the column inches would be about it.’

But Prue quickly found her feet in the Bake Off tent and because she was a firm fan favourite.

Prue sent viewers into a frenzy last week after she swore live on air during BBC’s The One Show.

Prue was then forced to apologize to viewers when she slipped up while chatting about her new TV show – Prue Leith’s Cotswold Kitchen.

Gasps and nervous laughter erupted through the studio after she made the mistake while chatting to hosts Alex Jones, 46, and Roman Kemp, 31.

Appearing on the popular late-night show alongside actor Olly Alexander, 33, Prue spoke about scenes in her new gig which will include her husband John Playfair, 78.

Prue’s new show, which will run for 10 episodes and air on ITV1, will star her former designer partner as the new set will be held at their Cotswold home.

When asked about what it’s like to work with her other half, Prue had herself talked out by the hosts after letting a swear word slip.

Alex started asking, saying: ‘One of the things that’s new on this show is a brand new celebrity, it’s your husband, John.’

Prue replied: ‘I know, I’m quite frankly p****d by it.’

The studio laughed nervously as Alex prompted: ‘Well, Prue Leith, you can’t say that on The One Show; it’s a family show.’

Horrified Prue began to apologise, saying: ‘I’m sorry, I’m very unhappy about it because he’s turned out to be an absolute star.’
