Fans seemed to be divided on whether they would be prepared to follow Grant’s “raw dog” lead on a flight. “Raw-dogging” typically refers to a situation where a person enters an obviously risky situation without the benefit of any protection.
“I’ll be on a plane to Perth later today,” he messaged one follower, who added:
“This has reminded me to pack headphones.”
In his Instagram post, Grant compared himself to a ‘psychopath’
‘Why are you allowed on board? No headphones or phone?’ another fan joked.
Another follower added:
“I started doing this while waiting for a doctor’s appointment while the zombies around me were looking at their phones.”

It comes after the Deal or No Deal host shared a surprising discovery while returning on a flight from a recent family holiday.
Grant took to his social media to post a video about a “hidden” feature in the plane’s bathroom.
On his Instagram Stories, he revealed that he had always disliked using his hands to open the lid of an airplane bathroom bin, where paper towels are discarded.
It comes after Grant shared an incredible discovery about the hidden features of an airplane toilet, which he excitedly shared with his Instagram followers.
To his surprise, Grant found a pedal on the floor that can be pressed to open the lid of the container.
Clearly shocked by this revelation, Grant told his followers: “Surely I’m not the only person who just found out about this.”
The video, captioned with this new wisdom, shows Denyer reaching out to his white-sock-wearing foot pressing the pedal, which is located directly under the toilet paper near the floor of the plane.
Pressing the pedal opens the container lid, allowing towels to be discarded without touching the container.
“For me, the container is always full and I hate touching it,” he wrote. ‘Did you know?’
It then moved back down to the pedal to give viewers a clear view of its location, emphasizing the convenience of this small but significant feature.
This life-changing moment for Denyer was clearly a highlight of his journey.
Grant currently presents Deal or No Deal for Channel 10.
