A group of Kentucky grandmothers prove that you only get better with age after they posted a hilarious recreation of Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII performance.
The women of the Kentucky Arcadia Senior Living Facility in Bowling Green are currently getting their flowers and going mega viral for sharing their own version of a clip from the concert.
The 12-second video shows the ladies in white peeling to the sides and revealing their “Rihanna,” dressed in full red to mimic the singer’s appearance from the big game.
The video has been viewed on TikTok and has three million likes as of February 27.

Rihanna performs at the Apple Music halftime show during the NFL Super Bowl
The ladies initially shared their video on Feb. 23 on the app, writing, “Our halftime show > Rihanna’s halftime show.”
The internet seemingly agreed with their sentiment, instantly sending the video to viral status within hours.
In less than a week, their recreation has been viewed more than 24 million times.
That number continues to grow, as does the number of comments with viewers sharing their joy, surprise, and even jealousy at how amazing the group is.
“Should we wait until we’re seniors to live there?” joked one commenter.
Three of the dancers in the video recently sat down with Fox & Friendsand explained how they came up with the idea and how they got their part.
Pat, Dora and Sue – three of the dancers – told the Fox host that their social director came up with the idea and pitched it to the group.
The sprite ladies were more than willing to give it a try.
Dora, who played “Rihanna,” said she thinks she was chosen for a number of reasons.
“I think I had the biggest swing,” she said, while Pat and Sue joked it was just because Dora had the red outfit to go with the part.

Sue, who blows the kiss at the beginning, said she showed it to her family and they loved the idea and the performance.
Pat’s family agreed, saying her daughters called her “cheeky” for participating.
Of course, the response to the viral video has us inundated with similar praise for the older women who haven’t let age stop them from having fun.
‘I love this so much. I miss my grandpa and grandma so much. This was perfect,” said one commenter.
“Omg I love these ladies,” one wrote. “Make more.”
“This is the best thing I’ve seen today. Thanks for sharing,” said another.
Despite their incredible moves and sense of humor, Dora said she was surprised by how viral it went for one reason.
“I didn’t know I could move that fast,” she said.
The wildest part? The video was made in one take.

However, this is not their viral video as they have been creating content for weeks and are already on their way to becoming full-fledged ‘influencers’.
In one video, a group of male and female residents showed off their own touchdown dances ahead of the big game, while another saw the team recreate the viral clip of “Zoolander.”
That video caught the attention of social media users and has garnered nearly 950,000 views and 53,000 likes.

“If me and my husband aren’t in the nursing home, I don’t want it,” said another.
