UK chat show icon Graham Norton has revealed what he thinks of pop giant Taylor Swift.
The Irish comedian, 61, who presents the long-running Graham Norton Show in the UK, was chatting in the The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday when the Shake It Off hitmaker appeared.
“Someone like Taylor Swift, who is possibly the most famous woman in the world, I don’t know if it’s an act, but she seems very close to normal,” he told radio hosts.
‘It’s strange. It’s like you can change a country’s economy just by showing up. How can you be so normal? And yet she is so charming, normal and simply fantastic.
He added that he was also quite taken by Taylor’s very pragmatic approach to songwriting.
‘I remember saying to him, you know, because he’s going on a big, long tour. And I said, “Are you worried about keeping your voice?” And she said, “No, I write songs that are easy to sing,” Graham said.
Kyle agreed with Graham’s assessment and said he “loved” the megastar.
‘She’s always been super sweet. She went from that gangly teenage giraffe in the countryside to a megastar, but she’s been the same from start to finish. I love her,’ he said.

She explained that Darryl’s reputation for nervousness preceded her, and that the Splash actress reportedly fainted during an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.
“So she did our show and, bless her, she wasn’t a great guest,” he told the publication.
‘But what I loved was that when she got over it, she was high as a kite afterwards. He really felt like he had done something incredible. And I was excited for her to have gotten over it. Still it was a very poor show.”

“Turns out I was there when he got out of the car and he was holding a bottle of Jack Daniels, which is already concerning,” she said.
“But then we realized the Jack Daniels bottle was half empty. It soon became very clear where Jack Daniels had gone. Those nights are pretty hard work where you’re just trying to hold together and get to the finish line.”

‘I saw them after the show and said, ‘Oh, I’m sorry I was a little rude to the dolls.’ But they couldn’t have been happier. Their diva had behaved exactly how they wanted her to!’
The Graham Norton Show has been running for an impressive 31 seasons.
The comedian’s flamboyant performance and seemingly effortless interaction with guests have earned Graham numerous awards, including three British Academy Television Awards for Best Entertainment Performance.
