2021 Australian of the Year Grace Tame shared a glimpse of her tattoo removal process while attending the Marie Claire International Women’s Day luncheon on Friday.
The 28-year-old, activist and sexual assault survivor, revealed her faded ink while posing at the star-studded event.
She dressed to impress in a form-fitting blue minidress that featured a slit.
Grace had a long snake tattoo surrounding her wrist and it looks like it’s going to be removed.
The word “FLOSSY” is also written on his collarbone, a slang word meaning “flashy,” and “OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN” on his forearm, a nod to a Walt Whitman poem.

“It’s about recognizing the fears and negativity that naturally exist in the world,” he said.
“But be prepared to swallow that and do things anyway despite it and turn that negative energy into positivity that can fuel you throughout your life.”
