Boise State beach volleyball player Nora Hayd has become a social media sensation after fans were alerted to her goth style.
An image of the team’s roster for this season went viral on social media after Hayd posed for her annual photo in full gothic makeup.
He turned out to be a stark contrast to the rest of his teammates, but fans went crazy for Hayd’s style on social media.
In the image, Hayd can be seen with white face paint, red and black hair, lipstick, and several facial piercings.
“You don’t see many gothletes,” one fan posted on social media.

‘Do you sell t-shirts? It is extremely important to get products,” added another.
A third posted: “Suddenly I’m the biggest Boise St volleyball fan.”
Others commented that they were now “obsessed” with Hayd and that “she’s amazing.”
Hayd’s profile on the team’s website says he is a sophomore and was previously at Bothell High School in Washington.
She also played for the DaKine Volleyball Club and was on the 2020 and 2021 AVCA Phenom List, which recognizes elite high school volleyball student-athletes on the rise.
Fans will be able to see Hayd in action when Boise State plays Washington on October 12.
