The finalists for this year’s Comedy Pet Photo Contest have been revealed, including a headless horse and a kung-fu fighting dog.
Professional photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullman created the contest to celebrate the positive role pets play in our lives and promote animal welfare.
The images were chosen for their photographic quality as well as their comedic value and were subject to serious scrutiny by the judges, all expert animal lovers.
Some members of the panel include TV presenter Kate Humble, professional photographer Gerrary Gethings and his son Jarvis Gethings and also Barry the Border Terrier.
