If you had any questions about what the Pixel 8 Pro looks like, Google is here to answer them. The company has put online a 360 degree simulator that lets you flip the device back and forth and upside down, with helpful indicators pointing out where various sensors and ports are located. The sim shows the phone in three colors and confirms that the Pixel 8 Pro will get a new temperature sensor on the back next to the cameras.
The simulator was seen by José Rubén and featured by Mishaal Rahmanwho posted about it on X. Google doesn’t seem to have posted a link to the website, but all you have to do is enter the name of the new phone into the Google URL. other Pixel simulators and the new phone appears. Presumably he went online early and someone found him while snooping around.
The sim doesn’t include any specific specs, so there’s still more room for Pixel leaks over the next month. And the simulator for the standard Pixel 8 doesn’t seem to be online yet.
Google mockups show the Pixel 8 Pro retaining a SIM card slot. The phone is shown in three colors: pale blue, “porcelain” sand and black. There doesn’t appear to be any major software changes to the home screen: all mockups display Google’s favorite color scheme widgets and the traditional “at a glance” widget.
Here are a bunch of screenshots from the simulator showing the different featured features and color options from different angles:
