In the UK, Glasgow and Cambridge are also in the red, but the US appears to be feeling the disruption more than other nations.

Americans have reported seeing a server error when trying to connect to Chrome, which is also causing delays for some users.

About 64 percent of issues reported to DownDetector cited search as the primary issue, 30 percent with the website, and a mere seven percent cited Google Drive.

Users have shared their frustrations with Elon Musk’s X, with some saying Google Maps is also experiencing a glitch.

A Google user shared a screenshot on the social media platform that reads: ‘502. That is an error. The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. That’s all we know.’

However, the outage does not appear to be affected. All country users submit problem reports to DownDetector.
