Google is discontinuing its mobile Shopping app


Google is shutting down its mobile Shopping apps for both iOS and Android and instead directing users to its online store site, 9to5 Google reported. On Friday, Xda Developers found that the term ‘sunset’ had been added to several lines of code in the Shopping app, suggesting that the apps were being discontinued.

A Google spokesperson said 9to5 Google that the apps will continue to function until June. We will no longer support the Shopping app in a few weeks.
