A Good Samaritan is tragically hit and killed after stopping to help a driver change their flat tire.
The 55-year-old motorist was driving along the Princess Highway in the state of Victoria when he stopped to help the other driver, just before the exit for the rural town of Flynn in the eastern state of the state.

At 8.20 am, the 55-year-old was hit by a passing car and died at the scene.
The 23-year-old man who was driving the passing car immediately stopped at the scene and helped police with their investigation.
Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit arrived at the Right’s Lane site not long after the crash.
The full circumstances surrounding the accident have yet to be determined, and police have diverted traffic in the area around noon.
Westbound traffic along the highway towards Traralgon has been diverted and lanes closed in both directions.
Emergency services directed traffic while police and paramedics arrived on the scene.
Witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the accident are asked to contact police.
