It’s been officially revealed that Good Omens Season 2 will finally premiere on Prime Video on July 28.
The series is based on the famous 1990 novel by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, stars David Tennant as Crowley and Michael Sheen as Aziraphale, and focuses on the strange friendship between a demon and an angel living in London.
And while the first season focused on the main narrative and was marketed as a limited series, Prime Video announced in 2021 that a second season was coming. Gaiman will return as an executive producer.
Along with the release date, we also got a look at the latest promotional poster for Season 2.

In the Prime Video announcement, the company also said that the second season “explores stories beyond the original source material to illuminate the strange friendship between Aziraphale, a picky angel and rare book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley.”
“Having been on Earth from the beginning, and with the apocalypse thwarted, Aziraphale and Crowley return to the easy life among humans in London’s Soho when he comes home with an unexpected mystery.”
The second season will bring back many of the main characters from the series, including Jon Hamm as Gabriel and Don MacKeichan as Michael. Joining him this season are Liz Carr as Saraquel, Quillin Sepúlveda as Muriel, and Shelley Cohn as Beelzebub.
