Alex Beresford shared a positive message just hours after Piers Morgan called him ‘tense’ in a report from his last few days on Good Morning Britain.
The journalist, 55, left the show after saying he didn’t believe ‘a word’ of Meghan Markle’s ‘truth’ about racism and the Royals during her bombshell Oprah interview.
And while discussing the ITV breakfast show allegations, Piers and Alex, 40, had a dramatic showdown with Piers storming out of the studio.
When he took to Instagram on Sunday, the weather forecaster smiled as he told his fans to remember that the ‘sun still rises and sets so beautifully every day in one place in the world.’

Alex cut a casual figure in a black tracksuit with gray trim along the arms paired with a pair of white Converse sneakers and a silver watch.
He wrote: ‘Probably shouldn’t have my sneakers on this white carpet! At least bless yourself on what looks like a gray Sunday.

Earlier this month, Piers announced that he had quit GMB after Alex disputed his polarizing comments about Meghan Markle and her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The outspoken GMB presenter left the daytime series after he left dismissed Meghan’s story of suffering from suicidal thoughts and experiencing racism at the hands of the royal family, insisting he ‘didn’t believe a word’.
Piers then walked away after a heated debate with Alex, in which the weather presenter accused Piers of unfairly ‘vandalizing’ Meghan, calling him ‘devilish’.
When Piers left the screen, Alex continued, “I’m sorry, but Piers sprays regularly and we have to sit there and listen.”
Piers, who declined to apologize, later announced his resignation and tweeted his thanks to the GMB team, praising them for their “ hard work and dedication ” that led to them beating their main breakfast television rival.

Piers called Alex “ an occasional replacement weather forecaster for GMB ” and “ tense ” in the telling report, adding that the presenter hasn’t messaged him since he left, unlike others on the show.
Thinking about their now infamous meeting at GMB, which ended in Piers storming out of the studio, Piers said he wouldn’t sit there and get ‘beaten’ by one of his own team.
He wrote: ‘I don’t mind outside guys trying to make a name for themselves by slapping me like this, but I wouldn’t just sit there and take over any of my own team, especially from someone I am gone out of my way to help when he asks me for advice on his career.

Piers continued, “I heard nothing more of his rant when I was out the door and on my way to my dressing room.
