Sims Koepka, married to American golfer Brooks Koepka, took to Instagram to post a creative video of her and Finau running towards each other, hugging each other before bursting into laughter.

Five-time Major winner Koepka and Sims Kopeka have been married since 2022 and have a son, Crew, together. Finau, meanwhile, married Tony Finau in 2012 and has five children with the golfer.

There is something of a rivalry between the two women’s husbands, with Koepka playing on the breakaway LIV Tour while Finau remains on the PGA Tour, although both will participate in the upcoming The Masters event.

Sims Koepka made a lighthearted reference to the matter in the video, which was titled “I miss you,” accompanied by a kissy face emoji.

The pair hugged in the video before bursting into laughter, with Sims Kopeka directing a light-hearted dig at her friend.

At the beginning of the video, Sims Koepka can be seen sitting in a car and lowering her glasses, apparently looking out the car window.

The captions read, “First time of the year, LIV wives take on PGA Tour wives,” and the video builds tension before an emotional hug.

Both women have made no secret of their friendship, often running into each other during tournaments and commenting on each other’s posts on social media.

At the Masters, LIV and PGA players will meet for the first time this year, with 13 players from the LIV tour participating in the competition, including Koepka.

The 33-year-old has expressed that most of the competitors from both tours still get along, which sparks controversy because the LIV is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

“The one thing that’s always bothered me since all this started is that all the guys were good to each other,” he said this week, despite several golfers, including Rory McIlroy, speaking out against the Tour.

99.9 percent were happy with each other. He was having conversations with Rory, JT. [Justin Thomas] .We would all talk to each other. [Patrick] Cantlay, it didn’t matter, we all talked.

However, he expressed confusion about a possible merger, adding: “No one knows.” We don’t know it on our side, they don’t know it on their side.’

His focus, however, is on winning the Masters thanks to being the only LIV golfer to participate in the Ryder Cup last year.

Meanwhile, Sims Kopeka is a model and spoke to the Daily Mail last year about how she keeps her relationship with Koepka strong despite the couple’s busy schedules.

‘We have made a trip without a crew [the couple’s son]. “It was very, very difficult to leave him, but we have to prioritize our relationship,” he said late last year.

“It was definitely necessary at the time. I just think we’re the CEOs of this whole operation, and we both have to be happy and have a healthy relationship so Crew can see him and grow up with two loving parents.’
