Goldie Hawn is a loving mother of three, but her famous daughter Kate Hudson claims she has a favorite child.
The 78-year-old actress, who recently revealed what first attracted her to her longtime love Kurt Russell, said Kate “thinks Oliver (Hudson) is my favorite” while on Kelly Ripa. Podcast Let’s talk off camera.
“I tried to tell him, ‘You know, no one’s really my favorite… You’re all different,'” Hawn responded.
‘But the truth is,’ he said, ‘…(your) firstborn is always one of the most interesting and memorable experiences, particularly because you have no other children.
“You only have one, until you have the second one, if that’s what you’re going to do, and that’s what happened,” Hawn said.

Hawn shares Kate, 45, and Oliver, 47, with ex-husband Bill Hudson, and is mother to son Wyatt Russell, 37, with partner Kurt Russell. The blonde beauty is also stepmom to Kurt’s son, Boston Russell, 44.
When the star was pregnant with Kate, she shared: “I thought, ‘How am I going to love another child like I love my firstborn?’
“The answer came when Katie was born, and it’s that we have so much love in our hearts that you can’t even measure it,” the SPF-18 star said, “That’s what happened.”
She went on to share a moment about Kate’s early acting days when interviewers were asking about Hawn.
“I told him, ‘The truth is that we have to hug each other,'” he told Ripa, 53.
‘I mean, yeah, you’re going to talk about me, and one day I’m going to talk about you. And I’m going to be Katie’s mom, and that could be cool,” she continued.
The mother-daughter duo remains close and publicly expresses their support for each other in their careers.
To celebrate Kate’s 45th birthday in April, the Oscar winner posted a nostalgic photo of the two of them on Instagram.
“Happy birthday my darling daughter @katehudson,” Hawn captioned the post.
‘Among all the things you’ve already accomplished in your life (an amazing mother, a great dancer, an Academy Award-nominated actress, and now a fantastic singer), let’s not forget that you were the fastest runner in high school and from all over Los Angeles!
‘So keep running, darling. You are a RACEHORSE. I love you ”, Hawn concluded.
The blonde beauty thanked her mom in the comment writing: ‘Haha! Mom you are the best! Being fast is still my favorite achievement. Catch Me If You Can!! I love you so much .”

‘His strongest value is his dedication to that unit. “They’ve been through everything together and it’s amazing to see how beautiful their relationship is, especially as they grow,” she shared.
‘He is so loving and affectionate. They have held on to it. It’s like a very strange Hollywood story. They’re in it forever. It’s crazy,” she concluded.
