The actress was previously married to Gus Trikonis, and their marriage lasted from 1969 to 1976.
The Foul Play star moved on, eventually marrying Bill Hudson that same year.
The former couple welcomed a son named Oliver, 46, as well as daughter Kate, 43, during the course of their marriage, which ended in 1982.
Russell was also previously married to Season Hubley from 1979 to 1983.
Goldie and her longtime partner met again on the set of 1984’s Swing Shift, in which they co-starred.
The two began a relationship and brought a 36-year-old son named Wyatt into their lives in 1986, and co-starred in Overboard, which was released the following year.
The couple have remained selective about appearing together ever since, though they did play Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus in 2018’s The Christmas Chronicles, as well as its 2020 sequel.
Hawn and Russell opened up about their relationship during an interview with Peoplewhere the latter expressed that he and his partner did not feel the need to formalize their relationship.
“For people like us, the marriage certificate wasn’t going to create anything that we wouldn’t have had otherwise,” he said.
