Comedian Nikki Glaser had Hollywood superstar Nicole Kidman got nervous on Sunday.
The Golden Globe host showed no mercy during the show’s opening monologue as she gleefully roasted Kidman’s musician husband, Keith Urban, and at one point called him a “Kooky Koala.”
Kidman, 57, seemed to take Glaser’s jokes well, even after the funny and acerbic woman mocked the country music star’s musical ability.
Nominated for best actress for her performance in the drama Babygirl, Kidman, 57, laughed out loud as Glaser cracked one joke after another.
“This is your 20th Golden Globe nomination,” Glaser told Kidman at one point during their monologue.
Glaser then praised Kidman for her renowned production of appearances in dozens of films and television shows over the past decade.

Glaser showed no mercy as he gleefully roasted Kidman’s musician husband, at one point calling him a “wacky koala.”
Glaser continued: ‘I want to say, thank you so much for all your hard work. Thank you and thank you for working so hard.
And thank you Keith Urban for playing guitar so much at home that he wants to go away and make 18 movies a year.
“Keep strumming, crazy Koala.”
Urban seemed sheepish as Nicole laughed at the jibe.
The actress appeared at the ceremony in a sparkling, tight-fitting, one-shoulder, very revealing Balenciaga dress that highlighted her slender figure.
The backless dress also revealed a hint of side boob and her extremely toned back as the Australian star posed on the Beverly Hilton red carpet.
She completed her retro look with a ’60s-style puff hairstyle, wearing her strawberry locks in a high ponytail.
She accessorized with stunning diamond and sapphire drop earrings and increased her already statuesque height with heels.

Kidman once again revealed her taut, lineless face, accentuated by a full face of makeup.
Meanwhile, Glaser also poked fun at stars Glen Powell and Ben Affleck during his monologue.
‘Glen Powell, what a year you’ve had!’ he said on stage, while pointing out the Twisters star in the crowd.
“Glen, you were in everything, Twisters, Hit Man, my head when I have sex with my boyfriend, thank you so much for the help, I’ll see you tonight,” she continued, as Powell began to laugh.
He also had a chance with actor Ben Affleck during his saucy opening monologue.
“Tonight we celebrate the best of cinema and save space for television,” he joked and continued: “Wicked, Queer, Nightbitch… these are not just words that Ben Affleck shouts after having an orgasm, These are some of the incredible Movies nominated tonight.”
He also jokingly took aim at actor Timothée Chalamet, who stars in the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown.
After praising the beautiful stars’ performance, he continued: “Your voice singing for Bob Dylan is so good that even Bob Dylan said it was horrible,” he joked.
Meanwhile, the night ended in disappointment for Kidman when Fernanda Torres took home the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama Motion Picture for I’m Still Here.
