Barcelona have unveiled their away kit for the 2022-23 season, with fans on social media eating up the new gold strip, most notably the Spotify logo on the front.
The Catalan giants have shown their new strip – which is similar to their home kit, inspired by the Olympic Games held in the city 30 years ago.
Fans were quick to praise the new kit on social media, with some predicting it will be a “golden season.”

In response to the unveiling club on Instagramone Barcelona fan account wrote: ‘Gold for a golden season.’

Another fan took the same route as they wrote: ‘Inspired by Barcelona’s golden age for our current golden boys.’
Instagram user _Davi25 commented, “Holy smokes, this is beautiful. Now make it a good season too.’
One fan made the comparison to Barcelona’s away kit in the mid-2000s, when Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho graced the Nou Camp.
Raymond Naingollan said the kit gave them ‘Ronaldinho vibes’.
Barcelona fans are hoping for a successful season, with the club associated this summer with big names such as Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and Sevilla’s Jules Kounde.
Theo Andrew commented: “Kounde and Lewandowski will look great in this away shirt.
Players such as Pedri, Ansu Fati and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang promoted the new kit, which has an Olympic gold theme.
It features the pattern of a map of Barcelona, and the club’s website said they wanted to highlight the women’s team’s success through their away kit.
Over the past two seasons, the women’s team has won a historic treble, including their first-ever UEFA Champions League title.
Last season they not only won the domestic treble, but also filled the Nou Camp for the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Real Madrid and did so again for the semi-finals against Wolfsburg.
Their away kit, like their home shirt, has been given the slogan ‘The Flame Lives On’ – in tribute to the 30th anniversary of the Olympic Games held in Barcelona.
The home shirt features the traditional blue and garnet stripes, with sponsor Spotify on the front in gold lettering.

For the first time in Nou Camp history, it will be renamed after a deal is closed
Barcelona confirmed in March that their iconic stadium will be rebranded as ‘Spotify Nou Camp’ from next season, after securing a £237 million sponsorship deal.
This is the first time in the stadium’s 65-year history that it will be renamed the home of Barcelona – the deal will also see the Spotify logo appear on the front of both the men’s and women’s team shirts before the start of next season.
Through the partnership, Spotify and Barcelona will team up to create a larger platform for artists around the world to showcase their music, and possibly even host events at the Nou Camp.
