Golden bachelor Gerry Turner and his new wife Theresa Nist are still living in separate houses despite tying the knot three months ago.
The Indiana native, 72, married the New Jersey resident, 70, in a televised ceremony in January after finding love on the newest iteration of ABC’s reality TV dating franchise.
TMZ reports that the spouses do not live together and are not even in the same city or state.
Gerry lives at his lake house in northern Indiana, while Theresa is at home in New Jersey with her family.
But there’s no trouble in paradise just yet, the couple is just trying out a long-distance relationship for now, as they have roots and families (and in Theresa’s case, a career) in their respective cities.

Gerry and Theresa haven’t decided on their new hometown yet, but they are eyeing Charleston, South Carolina.
Teresa’s son and grandchildren live nearby.
Last month, ABC announced The Golden Bachelorette. One of the ladies from Gerry’s season will be chosen as the first golden bachelorette.
Joan Vassos, 61, Leslie Fhima, 65, and Faith Martin, 61, are said to be the main contenders for USA Today.
Leslie came second on Gerry’s season and Faith finished third. Joan left the series early when her daughter had medical complications after giving birth.
Since Joan left in the third episode of the season, she is a great candidate since viewers don’t know her very well.
Due to the age of the Golden Bachelorette candidates, some of the suitors will be younger than the 60-year-old minimum set for Gerry’s inaugural season.
Now, TMZ reports that the spouses do not live together, nor are they even in the same city or state.

And to top it all off, moving is a pain, so you want to take your time, figure out where you want to live together so you only have to move once.
Leslie Fhima came in second place on the Golden Bachelor and is said to be in the running for the Golden Bachelorette.
Joan Vassos left during the third episode due to a family emergency and is also said to be under consideration for the Golden Bachelorette.
Faith Martin finished in third place and is the third woman considered for the Golden Bachelorette.
The Golden Bachelorette is scheduled to debut in September.
The Golden Bachelor show was watched by 43.4 million viewers after 35 days of viewing on linear and streaming platforms.
People reported that it is also the No. 1 show in new unscripted series this season among adults 18-49 (0.84 rating), according to ABC.
Additionally, Golden Bachelor was ABC’s #1 unscripted series premiere on Hulu.
